Thiebaud Exhibit at The Legion of Honor

I went to Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco yesterday to see the Wayne Thiebaud show, “Art Comes From Art”! Posted my painting “No F#*Ks To Give” alongside his “Woman in Bath” and “Full Woman Nude”, both bathroom themes! Wayne Thiebaud’s show was about how he reinterpreted old and new European and American artworks!

While staying in Twentynine Palms I went to Joshua Tree, the next town over. Great one-of-a-kind stores and very unique artist and store owners! Joshua Tree is full of artists. Bought this one-of-a-kind bag, I couldn’t resist. Robert designs clothes for all the Rock Stars…fun shop!!!

New Inspiration for Next Body of Work — Marie Antoinette Dresses

It’s been awhile since I’ve put brush to canvas, but I haven’t stopped searching for new inspiration. My love of fashion and beautiful objects has lead me to search of beauty back in history to a time of fairytale opulence. The 17th century Marie Antionette is an intriguing character—from an Austrian princess to becoming Queen of France to her dramatic death. Everything is abundant, lush and gilded in gold. So much to observe and recreate the queen of fashion and scandal!
