I have completed "Magic Carpet Ride", a 72" x 48" oil on canvas painting. This piece draws inspiration from Steppenwolf's 1968 song "Magic Carpet Ride". While many interpret the lyrics as referencing drug use, the song is actually about the transcendent power of music.
